By now, we are all aware of the considerable "work" which goes into making people you see in magazine ads look so good - and by "work," I mean what is done after the portrait photography itself. Photo Retouching and Photo Restoration have reached astounding proportions in their ability to make the signs of all sorts of things disappear: lack of sleep, poor diet, overexposure to the sun, certain lifestyle choices, etc. As a member of NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals), I am constantly honing my skills with the most powerful image-manipulation software yet invented. Whether you would like to add those "perfect" finishing touches to your portrait (by removing the unwanted and enhancing what you like), or if you like to get creative and fun with your image - whether it's Glamour Photo Retouching, Wedding Photo Retouching or just favorite snapshots - you will cherish the results.

Even if they are not images we have created during our portrait session, if you have any photographs you would like to undergo the process of Photo Retouching or Photo Restoration, simply do one of the following:

| If you only have a print of your image, and you reside outside of the Chicago area, please have your print professionally scanned as a .tiff file (.jpeg if unable to create .tiff) at 300ppi. You can then upload it from here. |
Here are the steps of the Online Photo Retouching Process:
- Upload photo along with description of your desired changes*
- Within 24 hours, you receive email containing Quote along with link to pay invoice via PayPal, and estimate of when your new file will be ready
- If you agree to the price & timeframe, I will send you a proof of my work on your photo
- Your payment is received via PayPal
- You receive final email containing your new file
*Please note that the digital image I will need to work with will have to be a certain minimum size/resolution if you intend to make prints from it. This means that if you only have a digital file, I will have to examine it to see if the Retouching is possible with the goal of printing in mind. If you have a print, it can be scanned to the appropriate size so this should not be an issue.

BASIC, PREMIUM and EXTRAS Retouching Treatment Top of Page
The line between Basic and Premium Retouching is not always a distinct one. For instance, sometimes the removal of a wrinkle or scar might be more labor-intensive than other times, and as such, could fall into either category. Regardless, here is a general guideline as to what constitutes the two treatments:
Basic
- color
- luminosity (brightness)
- contrast
- highlights/shadows
- pimple, mole, wart, etc. removal
- age spot removal
- bloodshot & red-eye removal
Premium (includes Basic adjustments)
- remove dark circles under eyes
- remove crows feet
- remove bags under eyes
- smooth out patches of rough, scaly skin
- scar removal
- finish by transforming skin to magazine perfection, if desired
Extras (includes Basic & Premium adjustments)
- weight removal
- placing someone in a different setting (background)
- change hair color
- change eye color
- change skin color

Have any photos which you cherish - or would cherish - if not for some bothersome "flaw"? Whatever the problem, there's a good chance I can fix it. For instance, is there a picture in your collection which you would consider terrific . . . except for the fact that it is crooked?
